The MLB playoffs are here, kicking off an exciting five-week stretch of high-stakes baseball for 2024. Fans can expect plenty of compelling storylines this October.

Shohei Ohtani is set to make his postseason debut following MLB’s first-ever 50-50 season, with the Dodgers waiting to face their opponent in the NLDS. However, the National League will be tough, as the Phillies hold homefield advantage and aim for their second World Series appearance in three years.

In the American League, Aaron Judge and Juan Soto lead the Yankees back into the playoffs after missing out last year. To advance, they may have to face their postseason rivals, the formidable Astros, in a wide-open race.

The Sporting News provides a full breakdown of the 2024 MLB postseason, including schedules, TV channels, and live streaming options.
